PADI Women’s Dive Day at Kurumba

PADI Women’s Dive Day at Kurumba

The Euro Divers Kurumba Team would like to welcome you to this July Newsletter.

This month we would like to be dedicated to Women Divers and to the staff at Kurumba Maldives.

On the 20th of July, we celebrated PADI Women’s Dive Day where we had many people joining us for a fun dive.

We had in total 5 ladies and 2 gentleman and we all went on a dive to Chicken Island where we saw many stingrays and eels. So many bubbles and so much fun!

Once we returned from the dive, we had a set of delicious mocktails waiting for us that were kindly prepared by our star compressor tender Ali.

Thank you to all that joined us in this fun activity! It is important that we promote that more and more women get started in diving

Participants PADI Women's Dive Day

This month, the stars of the show have been the amazing Kurumba Staff.

We have had many staff interested in getting started in diving and doing their certification courses with us!

This month Elena from the Front Office finished her Advanced Open Water Course.

We also have Sabah and Kuley from the Recreation Centre who finished their Open Water Course.

Open Water Divers

Then we have two Open Water Divers on the making, Eashaa and Mims, from the Recreation Centre; and, finally, we have one soon to be Divemaster, Farish, from Food and Beverages.

Dive Community in Kurumba Maldives

We love to be able to develop a Dive Community in Kurumba Maldives, not only among the guests, but also with the staff.

It has been a great pleasure to show them the Underwater World.

To finish, our star animal from this month has been the black tip shark!

We have had many encounters with them, especially around our house reef, with both experienced divers and first timers. When you visit us at Euro Divers Kurumba, do not miss the chance to go diving with this beauties.

That’s what we would like to share about July! We hope to see you in Kurumba soon!

Happy bubbles,

Your Euro Divers Kurumba team.
