Dear Guests,

Walter C. KaufmannIt is my pleasure to email this 1st monthly newsletter. Each month, I look forward to sharing with you interesting news about Meeru Island resort & Spa. To those guests who stayed at Meeru this year, once again, thank you for your visit.

To all our guests, the Meeru team wishes you and your family a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

We look forward to welcoming you back in 2017 and please contact your travel professional or book directly from the Meeru website to take advantage of some special offers.

This holiday season is filled with events that will make for a very special stay. Renaldo Delgreco, Executive Chef, has planned sumptuous buffets which will amaze you for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve Gala Dinners.

There will be special events and music for all guests and games and presents for the children. Each year, our Staff Christmas Choir presents an island version of traditional songs.

Recently, Meeru opened the Kid’s Club, for children ages 4-12; and the Teen’s Club for ages 13-17.This facility provides supervised activities during the day and early evening, and as well, babysitting service is available.

Starting November 1, 2016, Euro-Divers offered a variety of motorized water spots including jet ski, water skiing, wakeboarding and fun tube rides, by popular demand. All these activities are conducted outside of the lagoon, so there is no noise and no damage to the reef.

Meeru is one of the best diving and snorkeling islands in the Maldives and is well known for its manta rays and turtles.

Best regards,

Walter C. Kaufmann, General Manager
