The team at Cala Jóncols on Spain’s sun-drenched Costa Brava have kick started the new season for Summer 2022 and there’s lots to look forward to including great diving and an array of fun water sports.
Guests that have already arrived, couldn’t wait to jump into the sparkling Mediterranean Sea to make up for lost time during the past couple of years where travel was difficult. It’s been smiles all round, from the enthusiastic team to those exploring underwater and those enjoying carefree time on the surface.
If you’re planning a little trip further afield from your home country, but not too far away, Cala Jóncols will provide a stress-free and peaceful option, with everything you need right on the doorstep. Hotel Cala Jóncols is the only hotel in the secluded bay, tucked amongst olive trees in a National Park and close to the very best diving in the Cap de Creus area.
The team at Euro-Divers welcomes divers of all experience levels, from beginners trying diving for the very first time, to seasoned pros with hundreds of dives in their logbook. Diving is from the beach and by boat and offers a richness in marine life that is not apparent from the surface – from as shallow as just 10 metres, you can find corals, sea horses, eels, codfish, dragon fish and hermit crabs and more. Divers can learn new skills too, with a wide variety of courses on offer for all.

Cala Jóncols is the perfect destination when travelling with non-diving friends or family – those who would rather keep their head above water can explore the bay by kayak or stand-up paddleboard while those who would rather keep their feet firmly on dry land will be able to explore the local area, enjoy the pool and sample the delightful local cuisine and wine. The divers amongst you will be well looked after and you’ll find you’re diving with friends, despite no knowing them before!
