Position: Dive Center & Watersports Manager

I began diving in 2004 in Brittany (France), and haven’t stopped since! During a trip to Bali in 2010, I decided to make a living out of my passion and did the Divemaster and Instructor courses, after working in Bali; I joined Euro-Divers and made the Maldives my home in 2011. I had the opportunities to explore this amazing country working on different islands in different atolls. I am glad to be back in South Ari Atoll as it provides some of the best diving in the world! Looking forward to welcome you and dive with you here in Euro-Divers Vilamendhoo!

I started diving in Serbia and soon became a huge fan of technical diving. All education, knowledge and courses in technical and recreation diving I’ve got in one of the most famous dive school in east Europe. A couple of years later I found my new vocation, teaching people scuba diving.I love motorbikes, cars, football and diving in currents which we can find around Vilamendhoo together 🙂 This is my 3rd year in South Ari Atoll and I will be happy to share my knowledge and joy in the underwater world of our paradise with you. Welcome to Euro-Divers.

Even if I was born in Martinique, a wonderful French Caribbean island, I did my first open water dive in the Red Sea, Egypt, in 2007! Since that, I am diving the world, from Caribbean Sea to Mediterranean Sea, from Pacific Ocean to Atlantic Ocean. I became a scuba diving instructor to pass on my love for the underwater world and all its wonders, especially sharks!! I like to catch them in motion, so I became an underwater videographer. I am waiting for you, here in Euro-Divers Vilamendhoo, to share my knowledge and make you love this world as much as I do.

I am a dive instructor since 2004. After decided to leave Holland, I went to Egypt to discover the Red Sea. After working there for a while, I decided to see other Seas of the World. I worked in Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. In 2011, I spent one season on the Maldives then I went back to Europe where I was working in Cyprus. I missed the sharks and currents so I choose to come back to the “paradise”. Euro-Divers gave me the opportunity to work in one of the best places for diving in the World.

I’ve always loved the water, as a young girl I would spent long sunburned summer days splashing in the waves at the Lake Balaton in Hungary. I did my first diving course in Croatia, couple of years later I was working in Vietnam and in Cyprus as a dive instructor. Searching for new adventure, I moved to my dream destination the Maldives and joined to the friendly Euro-Divers Team! I was always fascinated by the peaceful underwater world.

Hello, my name is Abdul Gafoor Vimal. I am working in Euro-Divers Vilamendhoo in the Waterports Centre. I consider myself as an outgoing person, and I am fond of all watersports activities. Windsurfing and sailing are my favourite sports, and those sports led me to become a Watersports Instructor. I love to teach others what I know.
