And another month of diving at Vilamendhoo under the sign of Mantas with our 2 dives sites offering a unique ballet for the pleasure of all divers, whatever their levels.
We had the pleasure to welcome Johanna Zimmerhackel who’s currently collaborating with Global Fin Project that study coral reef sharks and rays in order to understand how they affect ecosystem, and inform conservation actions.
We had a very strong participation from the divers who have been asked to answer questionnaire related to Johanna’s work showing a high interest to understand and preserve the fragile Marine life of sharks.
The Specialty of the Month proposed was Underwater Scooter and had a large success. Divers couldn’t resist by seeing the other ones having fun on our dive sites and wanted to try and do their PADI DPV certification as well. Keep checking out the Newsletter in order to know when this will be on again
October weather was as expected with rain but we did manage to organise full day trip to North Ari Atoll to spend some times with some Grey Reef Sharks, shame that Johanna has to leave; she will most probably enjoy diving there.
Vilamendhoo is well known for our divers to come back every year and we had a very special guest who’s coming here for the first time but, not for the first time diving with Euro-divers.
Jon is a multi-repeater with more that 700 dives with us
Was great to have you with us and really hope to see you soon.
