Good day everybody!!!
Today the team at Euro-Divers Vilamendhoo would like to introduce our dive site Dhigurah Arches.
Dhigurah Arches is a long reef dive in the channel. It is a very popular dive site of us and around 45min boat ride away from Vilamendhoo. Usually we always go there for the 3rd dive of our full day trips to search for whale sharks and yes we have seen them here at this dive site, but Dhigurah Arches is not just about whale sharks.
It is a beautiful wall dive with bays and many overhangs. You can stick close to the reef and search for small stuff, nudibranchs, crabs and shrimps, mantis shrimps and some of the bigger fishes like puffer fish, moray eels, lion fish and sting rays on the sandy bottom or sleeping in the overhangs, or have a look in the blue… you never know whats passing here 🙂
From tunas to eagle rays, mantas or mobulas and like I said before, sometimes even whale sharks 😉
Dhigurah Arches is always good for a surprise!
